FAQs & contact

How can we help?

Learning to fly

Where do I start?

Book a Taster Day. It counts towards any course, and the fee comes off if you carry on.

Do I need my own kit?

No. School kit is included on courses. When you're ready to buy, we'll help you choose kit that suits your weight and level.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Courses are weather dependent. We reschedule days lost to weather, so you get the training you paid for.

Paragliding or paramotor first?

Either. Paramotor Club Pilot takes complete beginners to solo powered flight with no EP needed. Paragliding Club Pilot follows an Elementary Pilot course.

Servicing (Wingtrim)

How often should my wing be serviced?

Follow your manufacturer's interval, usually every 1 to 2 years or after a set number of hours. Get it checked sooner after a tree landing, a sea landing or a hard crash.

How long does it take?

We book your kit into a set week. It's usually back in the post by the end of that week.

Will you do repairs without asking?

No. We phone or email with the price first. If your wing is out of trim we re-trim it so it flies as designed (+£25).

How do I pay?

By invoice once the work is done: bank transfer, card or cash.

Can I learn to pack my own reserve?

Yes. We hold BHPA parachute packer licences and can show you how. Message us to arrange it.
